this is an old 6×7 transparency shot on a mamiya 67, taken a few years back on a very cold, but bright, winter’s day

unfortunately, whilst the scanned transparency is beautiful, with the blue tones really singing, I’ve yet to find a way to display the image on the web or though printing on a cmyk printer, that reproduces the colours and vibrancy of the transparency on a lightbox

I’m working on it though.. perhaps I should find and dig out a rgb printer and see if I can’t do the image some justice that way

the Imacon scanner has done it’s job again though, shame it costs so much
